Charity Emehill Bartels is a dedicated Ghanaian Journalist with
almost 10 years of experience pursuing excellence in media practice.
Currently occupied with work as the News Editor of Accra-based radio Radio XYZ and having served for three years; rising through the ranks as an intern, she studied broadcasting at the renowned Radio Broadcast Development Foundation (RABODEF) in Accra. Before Radio XYZ, she worked for three years as a reporter and News reader with Beach FM in Sekondi in the western region of Ghana.
Charity Emehill Bartels has concerns for our environment and exudes an unwavering passion for social and humanitarian issues, especially that which affects women and children. These issues drive her zeal to contribute to making a difference with her work.
She is also the interim vice-chairperson of Online Editors Ghana (OEG), a growing body of senior online news editors dedicated to sanitizing online journalism practice and instilling professional ethics to promote strict adherence to best practices.
