Richard Annerquaye Abbey is a Business Journalist; a role he’s
performed for close to three years now, working with the Business and
Financial Times - Ghana’s biggest provider of Business information.
Richard’s past work experience include stints with myjoyonline.com and Ghanaian Times. He holds a simple but strong passion for change and he’s driven by an even stronger desire to be a part of change.
His main areas of reporting with the B&FT are extractives, telecoms and information technology in general as well as banking and finance. He’s covered a host of international conferences such as the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and the IMF/World Bank Annual and Spring Meetings.
Richard Abbey is a product of the Ghana Institute of Journalism where he studied for a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, Journalism option from 2006-2010.
